Traditionally, Bengalis celebrate "Baromashe Tero Parban," symbolizing thirteen festivals in twelve months, each reflecting the essence of "Bangaliana," Bengal's culture.
"Sholoana Bangaliana" epitomizes Bengali culture, encompassing music, poetry, drama, and food. Poila Boishakh marks the Bengali New Year, akin to Durga Puja in significance, celebrated with fervor, music, drama, poetry, and community dinners featuring traditional Bengali cuisine.
This year, as always, we host "Poila Baishakhe Sholana Bangaliana" on April 14, 2024, at Naziul Firtha, New Town, providing a space for people to revel in our rich cultural heritage.
