As we all know that the Durga Pratima murti is manufactured by the artists from kumartuli. Though the Durga Pratima has her beauty and her total appearance from an artist of kumartuli so we can assume that an artist is equivalent of father of Durga Pratima. So this year the term Sradhyanjali is used as if Devi Durga is giving Sradhyanjali to the past year's artist those who are not with us in present days. The most popular 26 past years artists and their presentations will take as the decoration of our puja pandal.
