The theme this year is basically the village environment of Bankura,a well known district in Bengal famous for its teracotta temples and thakur dalans. We are trying to depict one such scenario of the thakur dalans of Bankura where uma or goddess Durga is worshipped just as a daughter. Besides the pictorial demography, we are also keeping in mind about the need for a more environment friendly ways of celebrating this festival and hence the materials that we are using this year is completely eco-friendly and non hazardous to the environment.
